Scholarships for Academic Year 2013-2014
1. Italian Culture on the Net - ICoN
ICoN - Italian Culture on the Net - is a Consortium composed of 19 Italian Universities operating in agreement with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs that was created in 1999 under the patronage of the President of the Chamber of Deputies and with the support of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Universities. ICoN's goal is to promote and spread the Italian language and culture in the world through information and communication technologies and specific education initiatives.
The Embassy of Italy is a member of the ICoN Consortium and it is also the testing center for all ICoN examinations.

4. University of Bologna
The University of Bologna is offering study grants and other financial aid to deserving international students who register for Academic Year 2013-14.
Study grants - "Unibo Action 2"
If you wish to register for a First, Second or Single Cycle Degree Programme, you have passed your SAT or GRE test and have a non-Italian qualification, you can apply for a study grant worth €11,000 gross.
Deadlines:
1st session - January 2013
2nd session - March 2013
Exemptions for merit - "Unibo Action 1"
If you wish to enroll in an International First or Second Cycle Degree Programme, you may apply for partial or total exemption from university fees.
Deadline: March 2013
Pre-enrolment for students with non-EU citizenship
In addition to following the procedures and deadlines laid down by the University of Bologna, you must pre-enroll with the Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence.
